Deezer Launches Toggle to Hide AI‑Generated Music
Deezer is adding a user‑controlled filter that lets listeners remove AI‑created tracks from their streams, responding to growing demand and a surge in machine‑made uploads.

Deezer announced it is rolling out a user‑controlled toggle that lets listeners hide AI‑generated tracks from their streams, with the feature slated for release before the end of 2026.
Detection and Scale
The move follows a survey in which roughly 45 % of Deezer subscribers said they wanted a way to remove machine‑made music from their feeds. Internal data shows AI‑generated uploads jumped from about 10 % of daily tracks to more than 50 %, averaging around 90 000 AI songs per day.
When the toggle is activated, Deezer’s search results will omit AI‑created songs, albums and related artists. The platform already runs an AI‑detection system that flags such content, and the toggle simply hides those flagged items from view.
Why it matters for GPU / AI infrastructure: The rapid rise in AI‑produced music underscores the growing workload for content‑identification models that run on GPU clusters. Streaming services need scalable inference pipelines to label and filter vast volumes of AI‑generated audio in real time—a workload that cloud GPU providers like AiGpu are positioned to support with high‑throughput, low‑latency accelerators.
